PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system and a power conditioner for the power generation system capable of preventing an electric apparatus from malfunctioning or the like caused by lack of a power generation amount of a power generation unit when autonomous operation is performed.SOLUTION: A power generation system comprises: a photovoltaic power generation device 1; a power conditioner 3 having an autonomous operation function; and a hot water supplier 4 that receives power supply from an autonomous operation-dedicated outlet of the power conditioner 3, where a control unit 8 of the power conditioner is communicably connected to a control unit 13 of the hot water supplier. The control unit 8 of the power conditioner controls the hot water supplier 4 so as to be in a provisional operation state where only a freezing prevention heater 12 is activated, when detecting start up of the hot water supplier 4 after start of the autonomous operation; determines whether or not output voltage of the power conditioner 3 is maintained as planned in this state; and releases the provisional operation state of the hot water supplier 4 to make the hot water supplier 4 be in a state where the hot water supplier 4 is capable of normal act, when the output voltage is maintained without reduction. |
