PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a pad electrode for lighting inspection when it is necessary to input a plurality of control signals as a control signal for lighting inspection.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a first substrate having a display panel with a built-in circuit on which a plurality of signal lines for inputting a control signal to the built-in circuit and a pad for lighting inspection are formed; and a drive circuit mounted on the first substrate for supplying the control signal to the built-in circuit. When a pair of signal lines adjacent to each other among the plurality of signal lines are set to one signal line and the other signal line, the pad for lighting inspection is formed in the middle of one signal line, and the other signal line is connected via a switch element to the pad for lighting inspection. At the time of lighting inspection, the switch element is turned on, and the same control signal is input from the pad for lighting inspection to one signal line and the other signal line. |
