The present invention relates to a food waste bucket and, more particularly, to a food waste bucket in which food waste is accommodated and drained, after which the drained food waste is put in a standard plastic garbage bag disposed in the waste bucket. The food waste bucket includes: a housing having an upper chamber and a lower chamber disposed at a lower side of the upper chamber, wherein the lower chamber has a diameter less than that of the upper chamber to allow the standard plastic garbage bag to surround the outer surface of the lower chamber; a lid for opening and closing an opened top surface of the upper chamber; a bottom surface cover opening and closing an opened bottom surface of the lower chamber, and having a plurality of drainage holes along the edge thereof to drain the food waste put into the housing; and a support container into which the lower chamber is inserted to collect water drained from the drainage holes of the bottom cover, and which has a discharge hole in one side. Therefore, the food waste bucket may allow drained food waste to be put easily into the standard plastic garbage bag. |
