PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for replacing a door, capable of attaching a new door at the same position as that of an existing door with simpler work without removing an existing frame body, and capable of preventing the appearance thereof from being impaired.SOLUTION: A part of an existing frame body 2 is cut (Figure 3 (a)), and recesses 11 are formed at positions corresponding to the parts of the peripheral edge of an opening 1 of a building where the existing frame body 2 is cut (Figure 3 (b)), thereby enabling a new door provided with locking parts which can enter the recesses 11 to be attached to the same position as that of an existing door. Burrs, scratches, and the like may occur on the existing frame body 2 when a part of the existing frame body 2 is cut. However, the appearance thereof can be prevented from being impaired by attaching a plate 3 with new holes 33 formed at positions corresponding to the recesses 11 to the existing frame body 2 (Figure 3 (c)). |
