PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive an oil jet device only by a normal mechanical oil pump and only when needed without using an expensive electric oil pump.SOLUTION: An oil pump 10 is driven by a crank shaft 5 or a shaft interlinked with it. An internal combustion engine is provided with an accumulator 15 as an oil storage part. Oil overflown from a relief valve 14 is stored in the accumulator 15. When an engine reaches temperature high enough to generate knocking, the oil stored in the accumulator 15 is injected to a piston 3 from an oil jet device 13. Operations done by the oil pump 10 can be effectively utilized so as to contribute to fuel consumption. |
