PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an auxiliary apparatus for executing reverse recovery in place of a reflux diode from being overloaded.SOLUTION: The switching device comprises: a main element with a switching element and a reflux diode connected in reversely parallel to the switching element; an auxiliary apparatus that is connected in parallel to the main element and performs reverse recovery in place of the reflux diode during reverse recovery of the reflux diode; detection means for detecting a load state of at least one constituent element, which is installed on the auxiliary apparatus; and control means for controlling operations of the auxiliary apparatus on the basis of the detected load state. |
