PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcurrent protective device (power tool) capable of achieving more complete protection of an object to be driven, by restricting generation of a driving current supplied to the object to be driven immediately if the driving current becomes an overcurrent.SOLUTION: The overcurrent protective device includes a suppression switching section 17 that inputs a discrimination signal Sc from an overcurrent discrimination section 16 without interposing a control circuit 20 and directly switches switching drive sections 15a-15c and a drive circuit 13 to generation suppression of a driving current on the basis of the discrimination signal Sc indicating that an overcurrent occurs at a driving current of a motor M1. |
