PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling needle, even when a protector for covering the needle is made of resin, capable of retaining high dimension accuracy of the protector with respect to the needle.SOLUTION: An indwelling needle 1 includes: a hollow resin needle 14; a resin needle hub 16 provided at a proximal end of the resin needle 14 and having an internal space 54 in communication with the resin needle 14; a metal needle 10 inserted into the resin needle 14; a protector 18 coveringly molded in contact with a part of the metal needle 10 by insertion molding of a nonbonding resin with respect to the metal needle 10, being movable relative to the metal needle 10, capable of including a needle tip 20 of the metal needle 10, and capable of being contained in the internal space 54; and a locking part 22 that is constituted of a bondable resin with respect to the metal needle 10, bonded to a part of the metal needle 10 to be coveringly molded, has such a dimension as entering the resin needle 14 and the internal space 54, and locks the protector 18. |
