PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a heat exchange portion which is a variable range of an evaporation region in an indoor heat exchanger during dehumidification operation causes large pressure loss, leading to decline in the capacity of the indoor heat exchanger during cooling operation .SOLUTION: In an air conditioner, an indoor heat exchanger includes: an auxiliary heat exchanger 20; and a main heat exchanger 21 disposed on the downwind side of the auxiliary heat exchanger 20. When an operation in a predetermined dehumidification operation mode is being performed, a liquid refrigerant supplied to the auxiliary heat exchanger 20 is completely evaporated in the middle of the auxiliary heat exchanger 20. Thus, only a portion on the upstream side of the auxiliary heat exchanger 20 serves as an evaporation region, and a range on the downstream side of the evaporation region of the auxiliary heat exchanger 20 is a superheating region. As the refrigerant, an R32 refrigerant is used, and an inner diameter of a heat-transfer pipe of the auxiliary heat exchanger 20 is 4.4 mm or longer. |
