PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material feeder in which tucking of a material and generation of bridges are reduced, thereby a material can be stably transported.SOLUTION: A material feeder includes: a passage forming member subject that forms a material supply passage; and a screw that is disposed in the material supply passage, and transports a granular material, where a material inlet opening part of the material supply passage is formed until a position of a screw is off-set, the inner periphery of the material supply passage is larger than the outer periphery of the screw, and the distance between the inner periphery of the material supply passage and the shaft of the screw gradually becomes larger as it advances in a revolution direction of travel of the screw in a round slice cross section of the screw. |
