PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation method capable of preventing the degradation of a liquid-repellent film configured on the surface of an inkjet head.SOLUTION: The provided image formation method includes a step of jetting, from an inkjet head having liquid-repellent film on the jetting face thereof, an ink composition including: an oxidized carbon black pigment having an average primary particle diameter of 25 nm or below and bearing an oxygen content of at least 5 atom% on the surface thereof; a water-soluble nonionic compound including at least either of ethyleneoxy chains and propyleneoxy chains in a state where the combined number of the ethyleneoxy chains and propyleneoxy chains is at least 3 and 25 or fewer; and water. |
