PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens in which an intermediate focus movement amount is small even with a simple configuration, using an optical correction method, and excellent optical performance can be easily obtained across a wide variable magnification range.SOLUTION: In the zoom lens having a first lens group to a fifth lens group of a negative refractive power, a positive refractive power, the negative refractive power, the positive refractive power and the positive refractive power in order from an enlargement conjugate side to a reduction conjugate side, in which upon zooming, the second lens group and the fourth lens group move with the same trajectory and the first lens group, the third lens group and the fifth lens group are stationary, a composite focal length f2 to 4w of the second lens group, the third lens group and the fourth lens group, a lateral magnification &bgr;5w of the fifth lens group and a focal length fw of an entire system are set as below, 3.00<f2 to 4w/fw<6.00 and 0.05<&bgr;5w<0.30. |
