PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detection device that keeps a light diffusion effect of a light source unit, has sufficient flatness of the surface of the light source unit, and has high light diffusion function and high impact resistance.SOLUTION: The radiation detection device 100a includes: a sensor panel 1 having a photoelectric conversion element 12; a light source unit 4 having a light guide plate 44, a light emission source 41 disposed on a side surface of the light guide plate 44, a diffuser 43 disposed on one surface of the light guide plate 44, and a reflector plate 45 disposed on the opposite side surface of the light guide plate 44; and a support substrate 5 for supporting the light source unit 4. The light source unit 4 is disposed between the sensor panel 1 and the support substrate 5. A plurality of protrusions of the diffuser 43 are in contact with the surface of the sensor panel 1, and are bonded to the sensor panel 1 via an adhesive 6. The adhesive 6 arrives at the support substrate. |
