摘要 The present invention relates to a method for determining the position of an object in a camera screen of a mobile device. The object position determining method of the present invention includes the following steps of: extracting an object image in the shape of a rectangle such as a name card and a receipt from a camera and reducing the size of the object image; detecting an outline along the edge of the extracted object image; and determining a position by using color information on the outline of the object within four areas after extracting the four areas from the object image. The four areas of the object image include each edge area of the object image and are searched in the order of an upper left end area, a lower right end area, a lower left end area, and an upper right end area. According to the present invention, it is possible to quickly determine, in a mobile device such as a smartphone, if an object image, which is a photographed object, is appropriately positioned.
