PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize the timing of data transmission in a plurality of cascade-connected optical transmitters.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a plurality of optical transmitters 2 cascade-connected to a data dispatching device 1; and a terminal 5 for performing optical communication between these optical transmitters 2 and itself. Each optical transmitter is provided with an LED 28 for lighting up and performing optical communication, and an LED drive unit 27 for causing the LED to oscillate according to transmitted data from the data dispatching device 1. Each optical transmitter is connected to the data dispatching device 1 by outward-path-side and homeward-path-side communication lines. Each optical transmitter is provided with clock generation units 31, 32 for generating an outward-path-side and a homeward-path-side clock. A delay clock generation unit 33 generates a delay clock reckoned from 1/2 of a difference in transmitted data received time between an outward-path-side receiving unit 21 and a homeward-path-side receiving unit 22 by logical processing of the outward-path-side and homeward-path-side clocks outputted from the outward-path-side and homeward-path-side clock generation units. |
