PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent driving force from becoming insufficient during reverse traveling.SOLUTION: A driving device 10 comprises a clutch (CL1) capable of switching between a connection state in which driving wheels 42f, 42r and a power division mechanism 12 are connected and a disconnection state in which the driving wheels and the power division mechanism are disconnected. The driving device further comprises a clutch (CL3) capable of switching between an engaging state in which a plurality of rotary elements constituting the power division mechanism are integrally rotated and a disengaging state in which the plurality of rotary elements are individually rotated. A vehicle control unit includes as traveling modes: an EV mode in which the clutch (CL1) is released and the clutch (CL3) is released; a series mode in which the clutch (CL1) is released and the clutch (CL3) is engaged; and a power division mode in which the clutch (CL1) is engaged and the clutch (CL3) is released. The vehicle control unit sets one of the EV mode and the series mode during reverse traveling. |
