PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less-expensive strainer built-in piping joint showing a superior workability at the time of its inspection or maintenance work.SOLUTION: A strainer built-in piping joint 1 is constituted by a synthetic resin joint main body 2 comprising a fluid inlet 23, fluid outlet 24, flow passage 26 connecting these inlet and outlet, drain pipe 27 communicated with the flow passage 26 and strainer insertion port 25, and a strainer 4 stored in the flow passage 26 through the strainer insertion port 25. A screw-in type water-stopper valve 3 is threadably fitted to the strainer insertion port 25. When the water stopper valve 3 is screwed into a location where it is abutted against an end part of the strainer 4 stored in the flow passage 26, the water stopper valve fixes the strainer 4 at a prescribed position within the flow passage 26 and at the same time closes an opening part of the drain pipe 27. In addition, when the valve is unscrewed from this state to a prescribed position, the valve releases the opening part of the drain pipe 27. |
