PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately detect the altitude of a blood pressure measuring region of a subject for increased accuracy of blood pressure measurement.SOLUTION: An electronic sphygmomanometer 1 comprises: a measurement part 20 for measuring the blood pressure in a blood pressure measuring region of a subject; a first altitude sensor 14 for detecting the altitude of the blood pressure measuring region; a first displacement sensor 15 for detecting the displacement in a height direction of the blood pressure measuring region; a correction part 30 for performing drift correction for the first altitude information detected by the first altitude sensor on the basis of the first displacement information detected by the first displacement sensor; and an altitude difference calculation part 30 for calculating the difference of the altitude between the blood pressure measuring region and the subject's heart on the basis of the first altitude information processed by the correction part.
