PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently notify an interval of paper sheets to be ejected to a post-processing device from the post-processing device to an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A post-processing device 3 includes: a communication interface part 350 for communicating with an image forming apparatus 1; a storage part 370 for holding an interpart parameter for calculating interpart data representing the minimum time interval to be secured between the last page sheet of the preceding part and the first page sheet of the next part in the case of post-processing in units each with a predetermined number of sheets; and an interpart parameter notification part 301 for reading the interpart parameter from the storage part 370 to notify the image forming apparatus 1 of the interpart parameter via the communication interface part 350.
