PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method capable of recording a high quality image even if a defective nozzle is newly generated due to movement of dusts on an ink discharge surface of a recording head or bubbles in the vicinity of the nozzle, when complementary recording is performed by a normal nozzle around the defective nozzle.SOLUTION: Considering a cleaning direction of a wiper and an ink liquid chamber structure that supplies an ink to a recording head, a nozzle is selected as a nozzle for the complementary recording that has a low risk to newly become a defective nozzle when dusts or bubbles move. As a result, the risk of degradation of the image quality in the complementary recording can be minimized. |
