An outdoor unit for an air-conditioner is provided to reduce the vibration and noise generated when air is discharged by smoothly maintaining the flow of the discharged air. An outdoor unit for an air-conditioner comprises a cabinet, a driving source(10), a fan(40), and an outlet cover(50). An air outlet is formed at the cabinet. A driving shaft is inserted into the fan. The fan comprises a hub and rotating vanes(30). The hub rotates with a driving shaft(12). The rotating vane is fixed to the hub(20) and rotates with the hub. The rotating vane forms pressure difference so that the air is exhausted through the outlet. The outlet cover comprises a plurality of ribs(56) and a central plate(52). A plurality of ribs are arranged at constant intervals and prevents foreign materials from being injected through the outlet. The central plate is located on the crustaceous shaft extended in the longitudinal direction of the hub. The central plate is protruded toward the hub. |
