PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic fiber bundle cutter capable of sufficiently opening even a fiber with poor openability.SOLUTION: A synthetic fiber bundle cutter comprises a short fiber discharge member 5 in a specific shape inside a cutter roller 2 and multiple protrusions 5a on an outer periphery of the short fiber discharge member 5. The cutter roller 2 can obtain short fibers by winding a fiber bundle 1 around tips of multiple cutter blades 3, which are arranged in a roller circumferential direction, and by press-cutting the fiber bundle 1. The cutter of the synthetic fiber bundle 1 is equipped with the cutter roller 2 and the short fiber discharge member 5 in a funnel shape with diameter reducing in a direction for collecting obtained short fibers, and multiple protrusions 5a are arranged on the outer periphery of the short fiber discharge member 5. |
