PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a slim type combustion device to be manufactured without damaging an appliance case.SOLUTION: A case member 8 covering the bottom surface, upper surface and side surfaces of a combustion gas passage 2 formed in a lateral orientation is formed by side walls 7 covering in a square shape over side surfaces of the passage 2, a top plate 10 over the side walls and a bottom wall 12 covering the bottom surface of the passage 2. The bottom wall 12 and the side walls 7 are integrally formed by a deep drawing process. At the upper end of each of the side walls 7, a flange 13 protruded like a flange at an outer periphery of the side wall 7 is integrally formed with the side wall 7 by a deep drawing process. The flange 13 is positionally aligned with an outer peripheral part of the top plate 10, the flange 13 and outer peripheral corners 14, 16 of the top plate 10 are formed with a round shape and set with machine screws 17, a folding-back tongue pieces 15 are formed protrudingly in a linear line part between the outer peripheral corners 14 of the flange 13, folded and bent over the upper side of the top plate 10 and press fitted, and fixing structures for the side walls 7 and the top plate 10 are made different at the outer peripheral corners 14, 16 and the linear line part. |
