PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly perform data transfer processing with a target communication device.SOLUTION: In one aspect of the present invention, a communication device communicating with a target communication device comprises a communication controller, a general-purpose processing section, a data transfer processing section, and a starting section. The general-purpose processing section communicates with the target communication device via the communication controller. The data transfer processing section receives data from the target communication device via the communication controller. The starting section starts the data transfer processing section. The general-purpose processing section receives a data transfer start request from the target communication device. When the data transfer start request is received by the general-purpose processing section, the starting section starts the data transfer processing section. After the data transfer processing section is started, the general-purpose processing section or data transfer processing section notifies the target communication device of a data transfer start response. |
