PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic material-coated conductor and a production method thereof as well as a magnetic material-coated electric wire, in which a further suppression of proximity effect is achieved and a magnetic layer can be easily formed.SOLUTION: A magnetic material-coated conductor is a magnetic material-coated conductor 11 having: an elongated conductor 14 of elongated; and a magnetic layer 16 that covers the conductor 14 via an intermediate layer 15. Here, the magnetic layer 16 is made up by arranging a plurality of magnetic pieces 18 in an insulation body 19 composed of a resin such that an easy magnetization direction of the plurality of magnetic pieces 18 having uniaxial magnetic anisotropy is substantially equal to a circumferential direction D of the conductor 14. |
