PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston cooling jet easy to switch from in a valve closing state to in a valve opening state.SOLUTION: A piston cooling jet 1 includes: a cylindrical housing 2 having a housing side nozzle communication hole 22 in a side peripheral wall; a nozzle 3 communicating with the housing side nozzle communication hole 22; a valve 4 including a valve body 46 capable of axially reciprocating inside the housing 2, a valve side oil passage 40 arranged inside the valve body 46 and communicating with an engine side oil passage 900, and a valve closing side nozzle communication groove 43 arranged on an outer circumferential face of the valve body 46 in the whole circumference and communicating with the housing side nozzle communication hole 22 in a valve closing state; a pressure chamber 21 defined inside the housing 2 in a back side of the valve 4 and communicating with the valve side oil passage 40; and a pressure adjust passage B arranged between the pressure chamber 21 and the exterior of the housing 2. |
