PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for manufacturing a lens that achieves desired optical performance by preventing molding failure due to air remaining in the mold during molding.SOLUTION: An air-vent EVa for discharging air in a cavity CV and gas in injection-molding out of a mold is provided at a position which is nearer to an optical axis OA than an outer peripheral side surface S5 and in a part transferring a position located on opposite gate 41 side of the optical axis OA. That is, the air-vent EVa is at a position nearer to a central axis AX corresponding to the optical axis OA than an outer peripheral side surface transferring surface T5, and is located from the central axis AX to the opposite gate 41 side. As a result, the air-vent EVa is arranged at or near a part AR0 which is filled with resin last in the cavity CV. Therefore, molding failure due to air remaining in the cavity CV is prevented. |
