PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compactly-structured vibration-sensitive article fall prevention device that uses relatively weak torque to realize movement of a stopper part during an earthquake and can reliably prevent fall of an article.SOLUTION: A stopper member 12 comprises: a rotary shaft 8 that faces in a longitudinal direction; a stopper part 9 that is located near the rotary shaft 8 and is guided so as to move in a linear direction; a weight part 10 that provides rotational torque to the rotary shaft 8; and a transmission part 13 that transmits the rotational torque of the rotary shaft 8 to the stopper part 9. The stopper member 12 is disposed at a front edge of a shelf board 5 for placing an article 15. The weight part 10 provides the rotational torque to the rotary shaft 8 due to a prescribed vibration during an earthquake, the transmission part 13 transmits the rotational torque to the stopper part 9, and then the stopper part 9 that is located at the front edge of the shelf board 5 projects upward in a linear direction from an upper surface of the shelf board 5. |
