PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost liquid surface covering float having a structure in which a plurality of floats put in a liquid float with hexagonal faces pointing in the vertical direction of the liquid surface in the liquid stably horizontally without overlapping each other so that the floats closely adhere to each other efficiently to cover the liquid surface without a gap.SOLUTION: A liquid surface covering float 1 is a liquid surface covering float 1 floated on the liquid surface to cover the liquid surface. The liquid surface covering float 1 has a plate part 2 shaped like a hexagonal prism and semispherical projecting parts 3, 4 formed on the upper surface and the lower surface of the hexagonal prism shape of the plate part 2, respectively to be different in size.
