PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen analyzing apparatus and a specimen analyzing method that enable two specimens extracted from the same subject to be automatically measured and accurate measurement results to be easily obtained.SOLUTION: A specimen analyzing apparatus comprises a measuring device 2 and an information processor. The measuring device 2 is provided with a conveying unit 50, specimen dispensing units 21 and 22, reagent dispensing units 23 to 25, and a detecting unit 40. When a specimen rack 60 is conveyed by the conveying unit 50, a PPP specimen and a PRP specimen extracted from the same patient are identified under prescribed conditions to enable the PPP specimen and a PRP specimen matching the PPP specimen are individually measured, and the information processor automatically calculates the thrombocyte aggregation rate on the basis of these measurement results. |
