PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image content distributing apparatus capable of remotely controlling a content player from a viewing terminal of a content, the apparatus quickly providing a viewer with highly emergent information in a short delay time.SOLUTION: In an image content distributing apparatus, when a newsflash is broken during streaming reproduction of an image content and synchronously a specific notification sound is emitted during the newsflash, a notification sound detection unit 104d of an emergent information reflection unit 104b detects the notification sound to notify an image content conversion unit 102. In the image content conversion unit 102, a moving encoding unit 102a stops moving image encoding in response to the notification, and a moving image capture unit 102b converts a static image obtained by periodically capturing a moving image content into a time sequence of a JPEG image by using JPEG encoding. As a result, an image content output from the image content conversion unit 102 is changed from a moving image coded by H.264 encoding to a time sequence of a JPEG image subjected to JPEG encoding. |
