PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face authentication device decreasing the possibility of a user himself failing due to an attached matter or succeeding authentication in error that an unregistered collation object person is one of the users.SOLUTION: In a face authentication device 1, face information of a face with glasses where glasses are worn and face information with the glasses-free face not wearing the glasses are stored in a storage unit 20 for every registered user who is pre-registered. A collation means 33 collates the face information of the collation object person which is extracted from a photographed image respectively with a plurality of registered face information and specifies a candidate face information which is similar to the face information of the collation object among a plurality of registered face information. Supplement determination means 34 carries out supplementary determination determining that face information of the collation object person is the registered user under a condition that when the candidate face information is the registered face information of the face with glasses that the face information of the collation object person is also similar to the glasses-free face regarding the registered user corresponding to the registered face information of the face wearing glasses.
