PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a device represented by an organic EL element with high performance and high definition.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a transfer donor substrate includes the steps of: discharging a solution containing a transfer material from a discharge port of a nozzle for discharging the solution containing the transfer material by generating a potential difference between an upper surface of a transfer donor substrate and the nozzle, to form a bead made of the solution between the transfer donor substrate and the discharge port; and linearly applying the solution onto the transfer donor substrate by moving the transfer donor substrate relatively to the nozzle. |
