PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe merchandise whose elution reference amount to evaporation residue, heavy metal (as lead), formaldehyde, and phenol is conformable to standards (No. 370 notified by Ministry of Welfare in 1959 (Sho-34)) of food and additives in melamine foam used in an oral cavity.SOLUTION: In a process of manufacturing melamine foam, acid evaporation residue such as carboxylate generated from acid substance input as a hardener is crushed in a water solution in which a pH regulator such as sodium carbonate is dissolved to be neutralized, and then heavy metal such as lead is removed utilizing a difference in specific gravity, and phenol, formaldehyde and the like are removed utilizing the water solubility and volatility, taking water as a medium. |
