PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator traffic demand predicting device which takes into account riding behavior characteristics of passers-by changing in response to elevator operation conditions, a car stop, and car congestion conditions.SOLUTION: An elevator traffic demand predicting device 1 includes: a traffic flow data storing section 2 for accumulating and storing traffic flow data; a determination reference storing section 3 for accumulating and storing determination reference data; a passenger behavior determining section 4 for calculating a riding probability P which is an elevator utilization probability of passers-by, on the basis of the traffic flow data acquired from the traffic flow data storing section 2 and the determination reference data acquired from the determination reference storing section 3; a traffic flow data correcting section 5 for correcting the traffic flow data acquired from the traffic flow data storing section 2, on the basis of the riding probability P calculated by the passenger behavior determining section 4; and a corrected traffic flow data storing section 6 for accumulating and storing the traffic flow data corrected by the traffic flow data correcting section 5. |
