PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange an electric blower and a cord reel in a row with a dust collection unit held therebetween on a slender carriage to narrow a cleaner body and to allow dust collection situations of the dust collection unit to be easily known.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner is provided with a suction hose part and a cleaner body. The cleaner body is provided with: a dust collection unit to which the suction hose part is connected and which collects dust by whirling airflow; an electric blower for sucking the air from the suction hose part via the dust collection unit; a cord reel which houses a cord for supplying the electric blower with power in the way that the cord can be drawn; a first case for housing the electric blower; a second case housing the dust collection unit and having a first window part on the side surface; and a third case housing the cord reel. In the second case, an axis of the whirling airflow of the dust collection unit faces in the gravity direction, and the second case is arranged in the way that dust collection situations of the dust collection unit is visible from outside through the first window part. |
