PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device and conveyance method which perform skew correction of paper sheets to be conveyed, and improve in size reduction and weight saving.SOLUTION: A paper feeder includes a detection unit that detects skew of paper sheets to be conveyed along a conveyance path, and pressing parts G1-G3 for pressing the right or left side of paper sheets in the conveyance direction, depending on whether the detected skew is positive or negative. |
