PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for injection molding containing an inorganic powder and a binder capable of manufacturing an injection molded body or a sintered body having complicated shapes such as a ceramic core for a turbine blade, and to provide a method of manufacturing the sintered body using the same.SOLUTION: A composition for injection molding contains an inorganic powder and a binder, and the binder contains total 29.5 to 79.5 mass% of modified polyolefin and polyolefin, 20 to 70 mass% of paraffin and 0.5 to 10 mass% of a thermoplastic elastomer, and the modified polyolefin is contained at 5 mass% or more (including the case of polyolefin with 0 mass%). The inorganic powder may be a ceramic powder. A blending ratio of 50 to 80 vol.% of the inorganic powder and 20 to 50 vol.% of the binder is preferable. There are also provided a method of manufacturing a sintered body including removing paraffin from an injection molded body made from the composition for injection molding by using a hydrocarbon solvent having a melting point of 10°C or less. |
