PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing control device, a printing control method and a program which is suitable for using a function in a second printer driver while performing printing by a first printer driver.SOLUTION: In a host computer 1 which functions as a printing control device, a first printer driver allows a printer 2 to execute the printing of a print object in a first format. A second printer driver performs the printing processing of a print object in a second format with the printer 2 as an output destination. Monitoring means monitors the printer 2 in accordance with the printing processing of the second printer driver. According as the first printer driver has allowed the printer 2 to execute the printing of the print object in the first format, control means allows the second printer driver to execute the printing processing of the print object in the second format including a control instruction to not allow the printer 2 to execute printing, and allows the monitoring means to execute the monitoring processing of the printer 2 corresponding to the executed printing processing. |
