PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cutter having a reduced number of parts and size.SOLUTION: An optical fiber cutter 10A cuts an optical fiber 60 along a cutting plane at an angle with a plane perpendicular to an axial direction (of the optical fiber 60) and includes; a first clamp unit 20A for clamping the optical fiber 60 at a first clamping position F1 of the optical fiber 60; a second clamp unit 30A for clamping the optical fiber 60 at a second clamping position F2 of the optical fiber 60; and a blade member 40 for scratching the optical fiber 60 at a planned cutting position F3 located between the first clamping position F1 and the second clamping position F2. At least either of the first clamp unit 20A or the second clamp unit 30A is supported rotatably about a support shaft 50 which is positioned along a direction that crosses the axial direction of the optical fiber 60. |
