The present invention relates to a locking device for windows and doors, which locks and unlocks a window or a door while a locking member equipped in the window or the door is being moved when a handle for the window or the door is rotated. The locking device, which is installed in windows and doors, comprises: the handle, which is assembled on the outer surface of a cover; a disc-shaped cam, which is connected to the handle and has upper and lower holes on the outer periphery; upper and lower moving bodies, which are connected to the upper and lower holes respectively and are assembled to the inner side of the cover to move upward and downward; upper and lower connection bars, which are connected to the upper and lower moving bodies respectively; and upper and lower locking members, which are equipped in the upper part of the upper connection bar and the lower part of the lower connection bar, respectively. When the cam is rotated by rotating the handle, the upper and lower holes rotate to perform locking by simultaneously pulling the upper and lower moving bodies and the upper and lower connection bars. When the handle is rotated in the opposite direction, the locking is released. |
