PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container having an in-mold label, which keeps a similar strength even if the resin amount to be used for a reinforcing rib is reduced more than before, so that it is hardly cracked even by an external impact such as a drop.SOLUTION: A container having an in-mold label comprises: a bottomed cylindrical container body(2) having a side wall(4) and a bottom(5) formed integrally; and a label(8) buried in the state to expose the outer surface to the outer face(4A) of the side wall(4). In the portions of the outer face(4A) of the side wall(4), where the two circumferential edge portions (8a and 8a) of the label (8), padding portions (9) are formed by the intrusion of a resin for forming the side walls(4). On the inner face(4B) of the side wall(4) facing the padding portions(9), there are formed a plurality of transverse ribs(10) which are arranged at a predetermined spacing in the height direction of the container body(2). |
