PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device that has a straightening cloth for changing current of an inflator gas and improves heat resistance by using a protection cloth.SOLUTION: An air bag device has: an opening portion formed at a part of an air bag; a reinforcement cloth lapped and sewn around the opening portion; and a straightening cloth in which two belt-like portions with width larger than the opening portion extend diametrically from an outer periphery of the reinforcement cloth and the belt-like portions are sewn to each other to be circularly shaped in front of the opening portion so as to change current of an inflation gas ejected from an inflator. On a sewn portion of the straightening cloth, separate protection cloths are lapped and sewn to the straightening cloth, and edges of the protection cloths at the non-sewn sides are folded toward the distal end side of the sewn portion to cover the sewn portion when the inflated gas flows in. |
