PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling shutter obstacle detection system capable of maintaining an obstacle detection function over a long period of time by enabling electric power required for transmitting an obstacle detection result to be reduced.SOLUTION: A rolling shutter obstacle detection system comprises: a seat plate switch 31 for detecting that an obstacle which is an obstacle to closing operation of a rolling shutter curtain 12 exists in an aperture 1; a transmitter 32 for wirelessly transmitting an obstacle detection state signal including information indicating an obstacle detection state by the seat plate switch 31; a receiver 33 for wirelessly receiving the obstacle detection state signal; and an interlock relay 16 for performing opening/closing operation of the rolling shutter curtain 12 on the basis of the obstacle detection state signal received by the receiver 33. A communication system between the transmitter 32 and the receiver 33 in the case of electrically powered falling of the rolling shutter curtain 12 and that in the case of self-weight falling of the rolling shutter curtain 12 are different from each other. |
