PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which cold air from a blower fan collides with an auxiliary vertical wind direction plate, thereby causing a decrease in the volume of air.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 comprises: a blower fan 3 arranged in an air passage leading from an inlet port 13 to an outlet port 14; a vertical wind direction plate 6 supported rotatably near the outlet port 14 and extending along the longitudinal direction of the outlet port 14; and an auxiliary vertical wind direction plate 7 supported rotatably above the vertical wind direction plate 6 and extending along the longitudinal direction of the outlet port 14. An upper wall part 15 of the air passage has a first upper wall part 16 downwardly inclined toward the front and a second upper wall part 17 arranged in front of the first upper wall part 16 so as to expand the air passage. In the air conditioner 1 during cooling operation, the auxiliary vertical wind direction plate 7 is arranged on the second upper wall part 17 side with respect to a plane extended from the first upper wall part 16. |
