PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a green compact, capable of adjusting a filling amount of raw material powder according to steps.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a green compact includes: a step of mounting a feeding device having a filter on an opening of a cavity with a lower punch as a bottom surface and with a die as a side surface; a step of filling raw material powder charged from a supply port of the feeding device provided at the side opposed to the filter of the feeding device into the cavity; and a step of removing the feeding device from the die and forming the green compact by pressing with an upper punch from the side of the opening of the cavity. The green compact has a plurality of portions with different lengths in the height direction from the lower punch to the opening with the feeding device mounted thereon. The filter of the feeding device adjusts the filling amount of the raw material powder for each of the plurality of portions according to the lengths in the height direction. |
