PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallocene compound capable of producing an ethylenic polymer to which long-chain branches of sufficient numbers and lengths have been introduced to improve molding workability of metallocene polyethylene; an olefin polymerization catalyst component and an olefin polymerization catalyst comprising the same; and a method for producing an olefin polymer (above all ethylenic polymer) using the olefin polymerization catalyst.SOLUTION: Provided is a metallocene compound comprising zirconium such as dimethylsilylene(2-methyl-4-(4-trimethylsilylphenyl)-indenyl) (cyclopentadienyl)zirconium dichloride, dimethylsilylene(2-methyl-4-(2-(5-methyl)-furyl)-indenyl) (cyclopentadienyl)zirconium dichloride, dimethylsilylene(4-(4-trimethylsilyl-phenyl)-indenyl) (cyclopentadienyl)zirconium dichloride, etc.
