PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element capable of obtaining a balance between manufacturing cost and light extraction efficiency.SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescent element 100 comprises a multilayer structure of a transparent substrate 1, a transparent electrode 3, a luminous layer 4 at least including an organic luminous layer 43 comprising an organic material, and a reflective electrode 5. The transparent electrode 3 is a coating film formed of an organic conductive material, irregularities having scattering properties are formed at an interface between the transparent electrode 3 and the luminous layer 4, and the average surface roughness Ra of the interface is more than 0.3 μm and 1.5 μm or less. |
