PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power to be wasted in a heater for dehumidifying a sheet while reducing power consumption of an image forming device in a power-saving mode or the like and maintaining quality of the sheet.SOLUTION: An image forming device includes a humidity detection part, a paper feeding part including a first heater and a second heater, a recognition part which recognises humidity in the paper feeding part, a first switch part for controlling power supply to the first heater, a second switch part for controlling power supply to the second heater, and a power supply part having a normal mode and a power-saving mode. In the power-saving mode, the first switch part stops power to be supplied to the first heater, and the power supply part supplies power to the humidity detection part and the recognition part in a predetermined cycle, and stops the power to be supplied. When the humidity exceeds a threshold, the second switch part supplies power to the second heater, and suspends power to be supplied to the second heater when the humidity is equal to or lower than the threshold. |
