PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillow that can allow a user to keep a comfortable posture in both a supine position and a recumbent position.SOLUTION: This is a pillow 1 having a bag-like pillow body 2 into which water is poured. The pillow body 2 includes: an occipital support part 40 that comes in surface contact with nearly the entire occipital region of a recumbent user facing upward; a cervical spine support part 70 that comes in surface contact with the part corresponding to the cervical spine; and a chin support part 60 that comes in surface contact with the part corresponding to the cheek bone and the mandible of a recumbent user facing laterally. In the working state, water is always interposed in the inner space of the pillow body 2, the inner space formed between the head/neck part of the user and the floor GL. Also, by the self-weight of the head/neck of the user, a state is developed in which an internal stress toward the contracting direction is generated at least in a part of the elastic membrane material comprising the upper surface of the pillow body 2. |
